Welcome to your GuestShots online studio!

There are 7 easy steps in the GuestShots wedding documentation process, which you can access by clicking the 7 tabs at the top of your Studio. The instructions below should give you a good idea of how each step works, but once you get to each step, there will be more detailed instructions available there if you need them.

And of course, if at any point you are confused about anything, please don’t hesitate to call 1-800-859-8835 to ask one of our friendly customer service representatives for assistance.

Step 1: Get Guests Involved.

This is the only step that needs to be completed before your wedding date. You should probably do it at some point before your bridal shower, but the sooner the better. It might seem like a lot, but it’s really very easy and won’t take long at all.
In this step you’ll need to:

  • Set your basic preferences, such as who should be able to upload to your account and what your upload
    deadline date should be.
  • Design your instruction cards to give out at pre-wedding events and put on the tables at your reception.
  • Send sharing instructions to your guests via email and setup automatic email reminders.
  • GuestShots will automatically send the reminders to your guests on your behalf after your wedding date.
  • If you have a wedding website, during this step you’ll also be able to copy the instructions to post online
    for your guests to see.

Steps 2: Organize Files.

This step is at the center of the entire GuestShots process, and you’ll want to get started on it as soon as you get back from your honeymoon. By then, hopefully most of your guests will have uploaded their photos and videos. While everything you’ll need to do during this step is very easy, it will take a bit of time. But once it’s all done, the rest of the process will be a breeze! Here’s what you’ll need to:

  • Upload all of the great photos and videos that you took on your honeymoon.
  • Upload your professional photographer’s photos if you want to include them (make sure you have their permission).
  • Organize all of the photos and videos into chapter folders and make sure they are in the correct chronological order.
  • Design chapter pages to show at the beginning of each chapter in your movie (don’t’ worry, it’s really easy to do ).
  • Use the easy editing tools to edit photos and videos as needed. You’ll be able to quickly do anything from fixing
    red-eyes to trimming videos.
  • Rate photos and videos, and determine which you want to include and which you want to exclude from your wedding movie.
  • Upload music to play in the background of your movie chapter.

Step 3: Design DVD.

Here, you’ll simply use our easy design tools to design your DVD menu, DVD face, and DVD case cover. This part shouldn’t take much time at all.

Step 4: Create Photo Book.

This is where you’ll design your photo book cover and pages. This might sound like a lot of work, but thanks to our patent-pending intelligent Auto-Fill feature, we’ve made it easy as pie!

Step 5: Share on Facebook.

During this step you’ll be able to select which Facebook friends you’d like to share your wedding movie and digital photo book with. Everyone you select will get a Facebook invitation that gives them secure access to your entire wedding movie and digital photo book online, from anywhere. You’ll also be able to select which individual photo and video files you’d like to have copied and placed in your regular Facebook photo and video albums.

Step 6: Print Photos.

Here you’ll be able to select the four 8 x 10 and six 5 x 7 photos that you would like to have printed for framing. You’ll also be able to crop them if you like.

Step 7: Manage My Order.

In this final step, you simply need to verify that you’ve completed steps 2 through 6. Then we’ll make your movie DVDs, photo book, and backup disc set, print your photos, and ship everything to you. You’ll also have to option to order additional copies of your movie DVD and/or photo book if you like.
